What is a vocational evaluation?
A vocational evaluation is a process in which a vocational consultant meets with an individual to gather information to evaluate that person’s vocational potential. This process is done through a combination of interviews, vocational testing, situational assessments, records reviews, and resource surveys. An individual might contact a vocational consultant to know which jobs, fields of interest or ability, vocational training, or courses of study might be right and beneficial to them.
